Wabash Valley Idol is back for a second year as part of the Vigo County Fair Grandstand Entertainment.  Three auditions dates have been set for May 14^th, 21^st and 28^th at the Landing at Fort Harrison in Terre Haute.  Registration begins at 5:30pm, followed by auditions starting at 6 pm in front of the local celebrity panel of judges.  The first 50 contestants to register each night will be allowed to audition. 

The ten best performances each night will have their audition video posted online for voting from June 8^th through 25^th.  The top 12 will perform at the Wabash Valley Idol finale during the Vigo County Fair July 14^th at 7pm.  This year’s winner will receive $500 in prize money.  Best Western Hotel will provide travel gift cards.  Serendipity Salon of Terre Haute will be providing the finalists with hair styling for the event.

Wabash Valley Idol follows American Idol rules and participants are asked to come prepared to sing a capella during the audition nights.  The contest is free to enter and tickets for the finale will go on sale at the Vigo County Fair ticket office the day of the event.
